Protective Coating Steel

 protective coating steel

After grit blasting, heavily corroded steelwork requires a heavy-duty paint system.

We have a vast range of coatings and systems at our disposal. More often than not and because a lot of our work involves local authority bridge maintenance, the use of Highways Agency approved systems is something that we are very familiar with.

In addition we carry a range of testing and inspection equipment that includes wet and dry film thickness gauges, a pull-off gauge to test paint adhesion, spark test equipment to test for porosity and pinholes within the coating, as well as a dew point meter to test climatic conditions.
