Leicestershire-based Blast Technology Limited has established itself as one of the Midlands' leading companies within the grit blasting and coatings industry. Since becoming incorporated in 1989 and under the directorship of Fraser Jarvis and Ian King, the company has gone from strength to strength, establishing itself as the number one choice for mobile grit blasting and specialist coatings.

A recent move to new premises has provided us with a modern office facility and more storage space, greatly streamlining the day to day running of the company. Our reputation for quality and service has taken us far and wide across the UK completing contracts for many clients, including local authorities, major civil engineering companies, utility companies and much of the quarrying industry.

Specially-developed mobile blasting vehicles are one of the key features that enable Blast Technology Limited to carry out contracts with speed and efficiency. This particular one is fitted with a 400 CFM compressor producing 125 PSI at the nozzle, which makes it our preferred choice for heavily corroded steelwork and texturing of concrete. It is also fitted with a large blast pot and has the ability to carry approximately three tons of expendable abrasive as well as all the associated equipment and hoses.

We also operate some of the most sophisticated coating equipment available, including airless spray units of varying capacity which are used for general coating applications, and a plural feed unit, which is used for the application of tank linings and rapid curing epoxies and urethanes.
